Thunder Alley, Beaumont, California
What do you do when the best drivers in the country converge at Thunder Alley? Simple...you lay the smack down! That's exactly what O.S. Engines' Ryan Lutz did at the first round of the RC Pro Series West.
After taking the TQ in the Pro Buggy class, Lutz used the front starting spot to rocket away from the rest of the field, including Cavalieri, Truhe, Drake and King. In the end, Lutz took his O.S. Speed 2 to a ten-second lead and never looked back.
In Pro Truggy, Lutz had to start from the third slot, but wasted no time rocketing his way to the front. In the end it was more of the same. But this time, his O.S. Speed 2 Hara Edition powered its way to a twenty-second win over Cavalieri.
Revelation Raceway, Ontario, California
Once again O.S. Engines' hot shoe Ryan Lutz laid down some blistering laps and took the TQ in both Pro Buggy and Pro Truggy at the fourth round of the Novarossi Summer Series. What made this so impressive is that he had to beat the current ROAR national champion, Adam Drake, and last year's champion Mike Truhe.
In the buggy main event, Lutz had a tough battle on his hands, but his O.S. Speed 2 was up to the task and slowly began to pull away. In the end, Lutz put on a clinic and won by nearly 30 seconds.
The truggy event was much the same. This time, Lutz wasn't sticking around to battle and virtually walked away from the entire field. Just proof positive that to beat the best, you must run the best...the O.S. Speed 2 Hara Edition!
